Statements
Vision statement- To be an international network (a river) of churches and other ministries and activities expressing the love and the joy of God so that the community around can be changed and the Kingdom of God expanded.
- To bring living water to those who hunger and thirst for God through spiritual and practical support and encouragement.
Mission statement
- To be an international network of churches and other related ministries, where people from all nations can worship together recognising themselves as all part of the one body of Christ.
- To bring the glory and the very presence of God, as well as a new level of intimacy with Him, afresh in the church.
- To bring ministry support to those who are emotionally and physically sick and oppressed by the enemy through the power of the Holy Spirit.
- To be a source of living water (teaching, discipleship and training) and a channel of peace and joy (ministry activities) to those who are truly seeking God.
- To be a "church" where all members recognise themselves as being part of the "family" of believers and share gifts and talents, friendship, experiences and resources with one another.
- To encourage the church to be open and available to what God wants to do with us and through us and to make full use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
- To be a voice to the voiceless through the provision of radio and tv broadcasting, publications and other media activities aimed at propagating the gospel.
- To use all resources available, human and otherwise, within and around the church, to bring forth the mission of this ministry.
- To network with other churches and organisations, at a local, national and international level, to advance the Kingdom of God, in accordance with our objectives, vision and statement of faith.
- To be a source of prosperity and encouragement for all those in need, relieving situations of ignorance and poverty, through appropriate business training and business ventures and support activities.
The Bible
We believe the Bible as originally given, to be without error, to be the fully inspired and infallible word of God and its constant truth and validity through time. We believe the Bible to be the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Trinity
We believe in one eternal God in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - co-equal and co-existing. We believe that these three persons are one God, sovereign in creation, provision and redemption.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the true and proper deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth and sinless life, in His real and complete humanity, in His authoritative teaching, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning sacrifice through His death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His heavenly intercession and on His return in power and glory at the end of time.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit who is from the Father and the Son. We believe in the need of His work in conviction of sin, repentance, regeneration and sanctification. We also believe that the believer is empowered through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the release of the gifts of the Holy Spirit for works of service.
Mankind
We believe in the universal sinfulness of all men since the fall rendering man subject to God's wrath and condemnation.
Salvation
We believe in the need for salvation through repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that the sinner is pardoned and accepted as righteous in God's sight. This justification is received as a consequence of the grace of God because of the atoning work of Jesus Christ; it is received by faith alone and is evidenced by the Fruit of the Spirit and a holy life.
The Church
We believe in the spiritual unity and priesthood of all believers in Christ and that these include the universal church, the body of Christ.
The Ministry
We believe in the ministries that Christ has set in His church; namely, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. We believe in the present operation of the manifold Gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the New Testament.
